One time, when Amy was getting crushed by a robot and the Sonic Heroes were on the verge of surrendering if they make an action towards Robotnik, Shine's anger was unleashed, and with very frightening speed, he attacked the SWATBots and destroyed the robot with all his might, much to the Sonic Heroes' surprise. Whenever any of his best friends are in real danger, Shine can be aggressive and dangerous, especially towards evil villains. Shine can be as strong as Shadow, maybe even stronger when it comes to friendship. He's kind to everyone (especially Tails, Amy, Cream, Cheese, Cosmo, Carly, Raymond, Emily, Laura, Hamtaro and Maria), and he always stands up to bullies of all kinds. Unlike Shadow, who's almost always a loner, Shine is nice and always hangs out with Sonic and the gang. Shine the Hedgehog is an identical clone of Shadow the Hedgehog, made by Chris Thorndyke using Shadow's DNA and the combined data of Sonic, Shadow and Silver along with some X-Genes.
